Live Beaming: A life-sized backdrop with a massive impression
The scale of the high-quality images made a life-sized backdrop possible, which we never could have imagined would make such a massive impression. Pjotr is a kind, modest, and pleasant photographer who is present everywhere, yet you don’t see him, with a great eye for detail.
At certain moments, there was a beautiful interaction between language and image, and image and image. Example: while the band read out a note saying guests could leave a message at the video pole in the cloakroom, Pjotr was already on his way to take a photo of it… The words were barely spoken before the image was already there! During the party, images of the ceremony were also shown. We were obviously present for that ourselves, but now we received those images through the eyes of someone else… and that provided extra conversation pieces, fun, and hilarity.
There is a photo of the opening dance where the image on the screen is a wonderful addition to what you see on the dance floor in front of it… The story just made sense. Our guests are raving about the beautiful photos they could view on the site the very next morning. We received many positive reactions, and still do!
